在Michael第一张个人英文EP "Ain't That Rain"的唱片封套有以下的介绍:
Although this is his first solo record, the name of Michael Kwan is
not new to Hong Kong teenagers and music lovers, as he is a regular
guest singer on television, radio, charity shows and concerts.
Michael started off by playing the violin and classical music, but
later he gave it up and became a pop singer, and gave a very
successful series of guitar lessons on television.
Formerly Michael was a member of The Swinging Minstrels, the group
that won second place in Talent Quest 67, following which they
recorded a disc together with The Garbriels for E.M.I.
Michael Kwan has a very rich and soft voice, which is a great success
on these recordings "Cecilia" and "Ain't That Rain". Besides singing,
this talented young man also plays the trumpet, clarinet, harmonica
and guitar.
除了violin, trumpet, clarinet, harmonica 和guitar(古典结他和电结他) 外,他还会钢琴,电子琴,笛子,Saxophone等等...
