Hi guys,
I have been a bit hectic, because my grandmother (my wife's grandmother, Rooslila A. Tahir, just passed away early morning Sunday. Wanted to thank all the well-wishers who came to the wake and funeral to pay their respects, and did not stop for the past three days.
Thank You.
Bunda, as she is known by us, the grandchildren, was a lovely and dignified person. she passed away ever so gently and will be missed very deeply.
In other news, I am finally rested and nursed back to health and have been back in training for a couple of days now.
Did anybody watch the Sudirman Cup Final? China deserved the title, though South Korea also looked good, China have just all in one package: talent, game, players, and the home crowd.
As i've stated before, the Indonesian team right now is still young, they still need to go through lots of trials and turbulences in order to compete in the highest form. We are still "sleeping" amongst the giants of Badminton. With hopefully, the right form of training and management from PBSI, i personally hope that a regeneration of players will take place in Indonesia, which frankly, i have yet to see.
To everybody planning to go to Singapore Open, i've opted not to participate and will prepare myself for the next tournament.
I hope to see all of you guys during Indonesia Open, akan lebih terasa meriah apabila semua datang dan mendukung saya dan teman-teman.
