AIR CONDITIONING PLANTS: Thereare thirteen AIR CONDITIONING UNITS scattered about the ship for the purpose of coolingessential battle stations and SICK BAYs. These units operate essentially likethe refrigerating units, for cooling the air. The humidity is controlled byremoving moisture from the air by means of lime trays, or adding moisture byuse of steam.
