An eternity.
How long is an eternity? A second? A minute? An hour? A week? A month? A year? A decade? A lifetime? Or, forever?
The bell sounded, flashbacks barrelled. When you alter so substantially in realms that each’s very existence endures a theory to the others, time spiral into absorbance, revolve in and out of distinctness and finally to lose definition. The vague memories of time permutes and eventually end up tangled in obscureness.
A moment.
How long is a moment? As long as a blink of an eye? As long as a kiss? As long as the length of your vow to your love? As long as it takes to turn your whole world inside out? As long as sailing across the Pacific? As long as waiting for him to come back? As long as it takes for a bottle of wine to be aromatic? As long as your grand children start their own family? Or, too long to realise before it fades into incessant?
