Bald? David Luiz reveals treatment and talks about the World Cup scars. In an interview, the defender shows concern with loss of hair, recalls "blackout" against Germany and overcome in the national team after 7-1
It’s been three months since David Luiz came to Paris Saint-Germain. Since then, he still hasn’t found a safe haven in the French capital, says it is difficult. Lives in a beautiful hotel near the Arc de Triomphe. But if he haven’t found a fixed residence, he already feels at home with the affection that he receives from hundreds of french people. In a quick walk to one of the most imposing monuments of Paris, the player was stopped all the time for a photo or an autograph. Even armed military taking care of the local security waved to the Brazilian team player with a smile.
"I always wanted to be a soccer player and played of giving autographs with my sister. It was a "D" and "L" and I liked it. Paris is quieter than London. I just don’t like it that I still haven’t found a house. I already knew the city, it’s the dream of every brazilian." — said the defender, recalling that the city was the first he wanted to know when he arrived at Benfica and where he played his first game after arriving in the Portuguese club, in 2007.
But it’s not the lack of an address that concerns the defender in the beginning of his time at PSG. In addition to maintaining the good performances, a problem that goes far beyond the pitch and affects millions of people worldwide takes his sleep away: baldness. That’s right. In an interview with GloboEsporte.com and Esporte Espetacular, the defender admitted that his hair is becoming more sparse. And just to prevent his trademark stays the same, the player has found a solution with doctor Luciano Barsanti.
"Let’s talk about good things (laughs). I lost a little (hair), but I’ve found the secret and the source of salvation, thank God! I’m not going bald, no." - Said the defender, vain and always touching his hair in every pause in the conference in a luxury hotel room where he’s staying.
