Ranbir Kapoor was a happy man today. No, this was not owing to any personal developments in his life but due to the win of his Mumbai City FC over Delhi Dynamos FC at the DY Patil Stadium.

A thrilled Ranbir said, “I am elated and extremely excited. I don’t want to count my chickens before they hatch. It’s right in the middle of the tournament and we have lots to do. I think it’s anyone’s game right now, I’m really happy that we have this win today which has taken us to third on the table. We’re looking forward to the match in Goa; that’s next on the radar. The boys have worked extremely hard, all we can do as fans is cheer the team and give them all the love we can and hope that we can sustain this.”
RK说：“现在联赛刚过半，我们还有许多事要做。我想，现在这是大家的比赛，我真地高兴今天赢得了比赛，这把我们的球队带进第三轮。我们期待着在果阿的比赛；下个目标已经锁定。”
He added, “A win’s a win; it may be 1-0, 5-0 or 6-0. Despite me being an actor, I prefer winning a football match than a movie becoming a super hit. Never mind the score-line, as long as we win, as long as we have the support of the fans and the love of the city, I think that’s what really matters.”
他补充说：“胜利就是胜利；也许是1比0，5比0或者6比0.虽然我是演员，但和一部电影超卖相比，我更喜欢赢得一场足球赛。永远不要在意分数线，只要我们胜利，只要我们有粉丝的支持和城市的爱，我认为那是真正重要的。”
He also added, "I think third is nothing. It’s either first or nothing.”
