5、In terms of reward distribution, Han Geng’s right and
interest were threatened.
SMent paid Han Geng every half a year, and withheld all information regarding total earning, expenditure and potential deduction. Such a blurred account stripped Han Geng of the right to know and to speak, providing him with no knowledge of the
components of his payroll which in itself is minimum. Han Geng was simply asked
to sign the total balance sheet without informing him of any detail on the
expenditures. SM never provided such information in spite of Han Geng's
numerous requests. In terms of paychecks, SMent paid Han Geng in Korean Won
rather than RMB, forcing Han Geng to convert from KRW into RMB, causing him
unnecessary loss. Because there are fees associated with currencies exchange
transactions, Han Geng was never able to acquire his original payment amount.
It is known that although SM has no formal corporate in China, it does
have a lot of RMB cash flow. On numerous occasions, Han Geng asked SM to change
the settlement in a way to reduce unnecessary costs. SMent rejected his
requests and gave no explanations whatsoever. As a matter of fact, SM radically ignored Han Geng’s right and interest, giving him neither explanation nor settlement pertaining to the problem.
