Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 8 Speculation: What We Hope to See From Klaroline

Even though Charlie Charbonneau — the writer of tomorrow night’sVampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 8, “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street,” — told us that he’s Team Klaroline, we can’t be sure if Caroline(Candice Accola) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will ever truly be a thing.

We do know, however, that last week held some promise of a future where Originals and vampires have steamy sex. So, with that in mind, here are some things we hope to see — if not tomorrow, then sometime. Anytime. Please just let Klaroline happen!

Items of note:

1. A Klaroline makeout session. Preferably, we’d like this to start off with a passionate and romantic kiss that moves on to hot and heavy. But we’ll take anything, really.

2. A former wolf and Original fight over Caroline’s hand, because, admit it, you want to see who’d win just as much as we do!

3. Klaus’s romantic side. If he has one. Which we have a sneaking suspicion he does. (See: pony pictures.)

4. Caroline in a more adult relationship. Not that what she had with Tyler(Michael Trevino) was anything to scoff at, we love us some Forewood action, but Klaus is so much...older. We’ll just say that.

5. Original-vampire sexy times. This goes without saying, but we have to put it in writing so that it feels like a possibility.

What do you most want to see from a Klaroline hookup?!

Vampire Diaries Writer Charlie Charbonneau on Awesome Salvatore Brother Moments in Season 4, Episode 8 — Exclusive

It must be so strenuous, writing about sexy vampires for a living. And yet, somehow, Vampire Diaries writer Charlie Charbonneau has managed to make it part of his everyday life. Truly astonishing!
To find out how this TV writer has survived in spite of the constant threat of Original-vampire sex lurking around every dark, wonderful corner, we decided to ask him a few questions. But, in particular, about his upcoming episode, “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street,” which airs this Thursday.

Wetpaint Entertainment: Which character are you most excited for fans to see this episode?
Charlie Charbonneau: Everyone has some juicy stuff this episode. I'm excited for the Damon [Ian Somerhalder] and Stefan [Paul Wesley] fans. They'll get to see some awesome Salvatore brother moments.
So far, which has been your favorite character to write in Season 4?
Puhlease, Hayley [Phoebe Tonkin]. Hot werewolf with a chip on her shoulder, need I say more?
What's the weirdest part of working on a show about supernatural creatures?
Trying to apply the supernatural rules to real life. Tip: don't.
Do you ever worry about how the fans will react when you're writing an episode?
I think with every episode the TVD Writers hope to entertain, surprise, and impress the TVD Fans. We have some of the most loyal, awesome, and vocal fans out there. Overloading the twitter servers is a lofty, but genuine goal. #TVDFans

Are you Team Stelena or Delena?
Team Klaroline, for sure.
Out of all the supernatural creatures you get to work with, which are your favorite? (Vampires, Originals, Hybrids, Doppelgangers, Werewolves)
What about Witches!? Hello! I had the pleasure of working with Kat Graham (who plays a present witch) and Phoebe Tonkin (who I got to work with when she played a witch on The Secret Circle) on this episode. Witches scare the hell out of me in the best way and there are some rad witchy moments in this episode.

What do you have on the walls of your office for vampy inspiration?
A watercolor of a BMW convertible with fangs that my friend Cliff created for a Spirit of Children charity art auction. And a picture of me and Kevin Williamson from when I worked as his assistant.
Is the writers room set up like a vampire den?
The company in the room is pretty great. But I'd rather be breaking story in the Salvatore House or the Mystic Grill.
Is there an episode of Vampire Diaries that you wish you'd gotten to write?
All of them.
Can you tell us a little about the process of collaborating for this episode?
The TVD Writers are all incredibly talented and supportive, starting with Julie Plec. Jose [Molina] is a genius and brought his A+ game. I learned so much from him. On set, the director Jesse Warn and our entire cast and crew were stellar, and our Post and Editorial staff never cease to amaze me. I still cannot comprehend how everyone at TVD brings 110% every single episode, but the evidence is there Thursdays at 8 p.m.
