附合作新闻一则 She's no longer in the "Loch Ness Monster's forest"Thu, 16/08/2012 - 09:25 by Tim Chipping Let's not jump the gun too much because, in the mysterious world of Kate Bush's creative genius, things move very slowly indeed. So the chances of us every hearing what she and Outkast's Big Boi concoct are still fairly remote. We just might not live that long. But from what we can gather from a couple of tweets, it does at least appear to be happening. Big Boi (real name Antwan André Patton) has been going on and on about wanting to work with Kate Bush for quite a while now. But, you know, who doesn't want to work with Kate Bush? Or for Kate Bush? Or pay their own money just to stand in her shadow? No one, that's who. But Catherine was known to be a fan of his work, so he had a slightly better chance than most. And in a tweet posted this week, Mr Boi wrote: "Just Got off the Phone with Kate Bush !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" That's a lot of exclamation marks. He then added: "Stay Tuned..... ooooowwww !" That's a lot of "o"s and "w"s Back in 2010, the rap singer declared his love for Bush in a typically American and amusing gush on Pitchfork TV, saying: "I've been trying to get with Kate Bush for maybe five years now. She's one of my all time favorite artists. She's number one, Bob Marley's number two to me. [HE'S NOT THAT BAD! OH RIGHT...] I grew up on it, and the complexity of the music itself drew me to her. I was introduced to the music by my uncle Russell [GOOD OLD UNCLE RUSSELL], and I used to ride my bike to middle school and listen to it, so I'm a Kate Bush fan, big time. So I've been reaching out trying to get with her for a minute, man, but she's somewhere out in the Loch Ness Monster's forest in London [IT'S A LOCH. THE LOCH NESS MONSTER LIVES IN A LOCH. IN SCOTLAND], and I'm gonna go on some kind of journey to try and find her. [OR JUST PHONE HER UP]". All good news, we think. Just as long as it doesn't get in the way of preparations for her tour, which we believe is happening as soon as the citizens of Hades are warned of an extreme cold snap and air traffic control expresses concern over the increase of pork on the flight path and... well you get the idea with that.
