Benedicite for everybody, Hello I’m your
Friar Laurence, welcome to my cell! I like to live with nature of plants and
people. They are also like to come to my cell to tell their own story or
troubles to me. And I am always able to solve them but sometimes correctly and
sometimes not. And there is the biggest trouble I have never seen. The fair Vernora
has never been into this trouble. It’s about a love with my dear son Romeo and
my dear daughter Juliet.
At first, Romeo came to my cell full of
excitement. It was strange because he was very sad with Rosaline’s love when I saw
him a few days ago. Why was he so happy? Did Rosaline fell in love with him? Or
was he crazy because of love illness? When he told me the truth, I was shocked with
his words. He turned his love to Juliet! O my dear son Romeo! Did you know who
your lover is? She was your enemy, the daughter of the household of Montague.
And when I calmed down, I thought maybe it can solve a big problem. If the marriage
between Romeo and Juliet was true, maybe it can solve the feud between the
Montague and the Capulet. So I agreed with their love and I make their love be
true.
A few days later, Romeo came to my cell again,
His face was not good than before even than he fell in love with Rosaline. He
was cried to ask me what news. I already know what happened with this poor
child. Romeo killed Tybalt and now he was hiding in my cell. The Prince banished
him. I couldn’t tell him this bad news but I had to say. When I told him this
news, he was cried like a child or woman. Maybe he’s death was rather than
banishment without Juliet and Vernora. And my heart was also very hurt at that
time. Romeo your tears were did noting useful for your fate. So I suggested a
plan that let Romeo leave Vernora first and stay in the Matuna waiting for my
news. I want to tell the truth to the Prince and let he forgive Romeo. God
please forgave Romeo’s punishment, but God couldn’t trust me at this time.
One day I met the County Paris. He wanted to
marry with Juliet! What? O my plan was broken with this youth boy’s plan.
Suddenly, Juliet came to see me with a dagger. She’s mood was similar to his
secret husband. She cried to ask me how could fit it and I will be killed by her.
She was mad too! I was fear with her movement. My brain was quick enough to
find some ideas. But It didn’t worked well because of I was too fear to face
Juliet now. And finally I found a not bad idea that involves Juliet’s taking a
potion and make her seem as dead. And I will call Romeo to go to collect her
and leave Vernora. It was dangerous for me because if they found the secret, I
would in trouble. But I didn’t worry a lot now.
When I wanted to call Romeo, It’s too late.
The second day I found he was dead with Juliet and Paris. My poor son if you
can hear me at the haven, I want to say I’m very sorry for you and Juliet.
Maybe it’s fate for you and your wife. And now two household are in reconciliation.
So don’t worry for me and the fair Vernora. Now you are already be a star that it’s
very bright that I can see it every day.
